Limited Edition Prints of 'Penny'
 
I've wanted to draw a pine marten for a long time, but, as they're very elusive creatures, reference photos were limited. However, I've been sorting out my old photos, and in a folder from a local wildlife sanctuary, I came across a good photo of one!! I decided to create an interpretation of a heather heathland for the background because the purples and deep pinks really complement the rich fur colour of the pine marten. 
 
The original drawing was created with coloured pencils and watercolour on hot pressed watercolour paper. 

The drawing has been printed onto 225gsm textured fine art paper with UV encapsulated inks; making these prints lightfast and archival, lasting at least 75 years without fading or discolouring. The textured paper allows you to see every pencil mark as if you were looking at the original drawing.
 
The print is finished in a high quality white and seal double mount, which measures 14x11''. The image size is A4.

Limited run of 150 prints. Each print will be numbered and hand-signed by myself and will include a certificate of authenticity.
