Line and Wash Portraits
My line and wash portraits are much more simplistic and therefore take less time to create than coloured pencil portraits, but they are still very effective and capture a realistic likeness and personality of your pet.
I work from photographs, so would require a reasonably high quality photograph of your pet. (If you are unsure if your photos are good enough please contact me, as some of my previous clients have only had old printed/low quality photos of their pets and I was still able to create a drawing for them, however I may need to add a small surcharge to do so). If you have a favourite photo of your pet, but something is not quite right, i.e. a squinty eye, an ear facing the wrong way, or even if you're not having any luck getting a photo with both your pets looking in the right direction, I can use more than one photo to create the perfect portrait for you.
Prices:
8'' x 6'' - £90 Fits 10'' x 8'' frame size
12'' x 8'' - £120 Fits 14'' x 11'' frame size
16'' x 12'' - £150 Fits 20'' x 16'' frames size
If you would like more than one pet in your portrait, please add 20% for each additional pet. 8'' x 6'' is only recommended for one subject.
Payment plans are available, please ask for details.
All commissions will be mounted to a standard frame size, as stated above, this is included in the price. Framing, however, is not included in the price, but is available for an extra charge.
Payment:
Payment can be via bank transfer, PayPal or cheque. I ask for a 50% deposit before starting your painting and the rest is to be paid when you are 100% happy with your drawing. Any additional costs such as framing and postage are added on to the second half of the payment. You will be informed of all additional costs during or after the process. I will not post or hand over the drawing until the remaining payment is received. I regret that the deposit is only refundable if I am unable to complete your drawing, or if you are not happy with the final result and I cannot rectify it.
Please note, I retain full copyright on all of my artwork, including commissioned pieces.
